Infinite decimal expansions
I recently learned that the infinite decimal expansion .999… can be expressed as the whole number, 1.
I found this intriguing. I thought that since .9999999999 was just one minus some arbitrarily small number (1 - delta[x]), that there was no way that the infinite series could become equivalent to 1.
However, it has since been shown to me, that this expansion does indeed equal...
